A Jeep Gladiator Build That Never Stands Still
Whistler is our 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel, but it has never been a finished show build. It is a working shop truck, an overland platform, and a development vehicle that changes as the mission changes. One configuration may be organized for long-distance travel and camp gear; the next may need an open bed for hauling, prototype testing, or product development.
That constant evolution is the point. It gives us a practical way to develop Jeep Gladiator solutions around the jobs the truck is actually asked to do while keeping the system light, modular, and easy to reconfigure.

Built to Evolve
Whistler has served as a test bed for suspension, armor, storage, cargo management, communications, onboard air, and bed-system ideas. The EcoDiesel provides the torque and range we wanted for travel, while the Rubicon platform, Teraflex long-arm suspension, and 38-inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers give the truck the trail capability to support those different roles.
Many of the bed components shown here began as prototypes. We refine them through real-world use, then update the truck as the design moves forward. The configuration will continue to change, but the goal stays consistent: carry what the mission requires, keep everything organized, and preserve the Gladiator’s utility as a truck.
