A Dedicated Mount for Your Battery Disconnect Switch

Give your battery cutoff switch a secure mounting location under the hood of your Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU or Gladiator JT. Our engine-specific bracket bolts to the Jeep using existing mounting hardware and holds the optional Blue Sea 6006 switch beside the battery.

A manual disconnect gives you a way to open the circuit feeding your accessories when they are not in use. This mount handles the mechanical side of the installation, with a vehicle-specific bracket instead of a mounting location you have to fabricate.

Laser-Cut Aluminum, Factory Mounting Points

We make the bracket in the USA from 3mm-thick 5052 aluminum. Precision laser cutting creates the switch mounting holes and vehicle attachment points. Four M5 bolts and nylon locknuts secure the switch to the bracket; existing Jeep mounting hardware secures the bracket to the vehicle.

Before You Wire a Winch or Accessory Circuit

The optional Blue Sea Systems 6006 is a manual, single-circuit ON/OFF battery switch. Which accessories it disconnects depends on how you wire the circuit. The bracket itself does not disconnect power or provide automatic battery isolation.

For a winch disconnect installation, match the switch, cables, and circuit protection to your winch manufacturer’s requirements. A mounting bracket does not establish the electrical capacity of the system. Follow the switch manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions.
