Jeep JLU and Gladiator JT Rear Overhead Storage

This rear overhead MOLLE panel gives a factory-hardtop Jeep Wrangler JLU or Gladiator JT a rigid mounting surface above the rear seats. Small gear stays organized, visible, and off the cargo floor without drilling into the roof.
Mount MOLLE pouches, radios, lighting, a compact fire extinguisher, an Apex CRS reel, or compatible brackets where they are easy to reach. The panel follows the rear soundbar area and uses vehicle mounting points plus the included cinch straps.

Jeep changed the rear soundbar area for 2024. The 2018ā2023 panel is shared across the JLU and JT applications in the product options. For 2024-current Jeeps, choose both the newer year range and your vehicle model.

Roof and body note: Fitment is confirmed for the factory hardtop only. It is not compatible with the OEM soft top. Two-door Wrangler JL, Sky One-Touch, aftermarket top, and other roof configurations have not been verified.

Material Where It Matters
Aluminum across the span, steel at the mounting points.
The main panel is cut from 3mm (1/8-inch) 5052 aluminum to create a broad mounting surface without unnecessary overhead weight. High-strength mild-steel connecting braces support the vehicle mounting points.

Installation
No holes in the roof.
Each side uses one bolt, one nut, and one nylon strap. The vehicle-specific hardware and alignment spacers position the panel around the rear soundbar area, while the straps secure the outer mounting points.

This Rear Overhead MOLLE Panel
Mounts behind the rear soundbar in a factory-hardtop JLU or JT. Choose it when you want the unused rear roof area for cargo, comms, Starlink Mini, or compact trail equipment.
JL/JT Overhead MOLLE Shelf
Mounts farther forward in the cabin. Choose the JL/JT Overhead MOLLE Shelf when you want a separate overhead surface closer to the front-seat area.

Does installation require drilling into the roof?
No. The panel installs with the included vehicle-specific hardware, alignment spacers, and cinch straps.
Why is there a separate 2024-current version?
Jeep changed the rear soundbar area for 2024. The newer panel accounts for that change, and the 2024-current option is model-specific for the Wrangler JLU or Gladiator JT.
Does it fit a soft top or Sky One-Touch roof?
No fitment is confirmed for those roofs. This panel is designed for the factory fiberglass hardtop and is not compatible with the OEM soft top.
Does it fit the two-door Wrangler JL?
Two-door JL fitment has not been verified. Order this panel for a four-door Wrangler JLU or Gladiator JT factory-hardtop application.
Can I mount a Starlink Mini inside the hardtop?
Yes. Pair this panel with our Starlink Mini Overhead MOLLE Mount. The factory fiberglass hardtop provides a protected interior mounting location without the signal-blocking behavior of a steel roof.
Can I mount an ICOM 5100 radio?
Yes. Our ICOM 5100 Mounting Kit is designed to pair with the AAL overhead MOLLE platform for a supported radio installation.
