Katie's 2025 Toyota 4Runner Build

Heritage Blue, With a Cargo System to Match

Katie’s 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium is a non-hybrid build in Heritage Blue. OME MT64 suspension with upper control arms, Black Rhino Alta wheels, and Nitto Recon Grapplers form the foundation. In back, AAL storage brings together two 6-inch drawers, a fridge slide, and a Mil-Spec MASS Platform.

The rest of the build puts air, auxiliary power, and camp equipment in the same package: an ARB dual compressor and Pressure Control system, two 30Ah lithium batteries, a Dometic fridge, and spare-tire-mounted storage.

Drawers, Fridge, and a Place for the Gear

The 6th Gen 4Runner MASS Platform anchors the cargo setup. Katie’s build uses the Mil-Spec version, paired with 4R6 MASS Platform Accessory Trays and a Mil-Spec Drawer Platform.

Two 6-inch drawers organize the cargo below the upper platform. A fridge slide carries the Dometic CFX3 55L. The gallery shows the drawers and fridge extended at camp, along with earlier configurations of the cargo area.

Onboard Air and Auxiliary Power

An ARB Dual Compressor works with the ARB Pressure Control System and AAL’s 6th Gen 4Runner Air Connection Kit. The installation photos show the compressor and air fittings beneath the MASS Platform.

Auxiliary power comes from two Eco-Worthy 30Ah Lithium Batteries, an AAL Dual 30Ah Battery Bracket, and a Redarc BCDC 1240D.

Storage Beyond the Cargo Area

A Rig’d spare tire swing-out carries the rear-mounted spare. The AAL STP Mini, STP Accessory Brackets, and PACKOUT Adapter with PACKOUT Label round out the exterior storage. A Dual 1lb Propane Tank Mount is also part of the build.

Up top is a Sherpa Capitol roof rack. Diode Dynamics replacement fog lights complete the equipment list.
