The quick-deploy tents like the Shiftpod, Gazelle, and new Overland-ish tent are one of my favorite ways to setup camp. However, they are very difficult to stow. As we say daily here at AAL, “everything is a tradeoff”. The large size makes them setup very quickly, but they don’t fit anywhere, except outside of most SUV’s and trucks. Due to the way they get crammed into their carrying bags, it means that when you strap one down, the straps inevitably loosen when the fabric compresses within the bag during transport. For this reason, these tents often end up sliding around and damaging their bags and the mounting surface.
Enter, our “Sleeper Keeper”, as so elegantly named by redbeard5 in a recent Instagram naming contest. Our Sleeper Keeper is manufactured from 5052 aluminum for corrosion resistance and weight savings. Simply run a ratchet strap or cam buckle strap through the middle of the mount to secure the tent to the mount.
This is a universal mount with (5) holes in the bottom that are sized for M6 bolts (or 1/4″ SAE bolts).]
Each mount weighs 0.9 lbs (without hardware).

- The peak to peak measurement on each mount is ~10″
- 2 1/2″ wide
- 1″ to 3 1/2″ tall (based on bottom of the curve to top peak height)
Ships with bright-zinc coated button head fasteners and zinc coated nylon lock nuts for bracket assembly. Also includes (4) M6x20mm bright-zinc flange head bolts, (4) M6 washers, and (4) bright-zinc nylon lock nuts for mounting.

I love this product! With a 2 door Bronco storage is limited and being able to have this dedicated mount for my gazelle/camping chairs is a win. Super easy install and assembly on my TRMR rack. Got it in textured black and it looks great!
