Jeep Wrangler 392, Gladiator Mojave, White Cap, and 2026 Rubicon A-Pillar Light Brackets
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon now uses the raised hood design previously found on the Jeep Wrangler 392 and Jeep Gladiator Mojave. That hood change affects A-pillar light bracket fitment because many standard JL/JT ditch light brackets do not properly clear the taller cowl and hood profile.
These American Adventure Lab A-Pillar Light and Antenna Brackets were specifically engineered for that raised 392/Mojave-style hood. That means they are a proper fit for the Wrangler 392, Gladiator Mojave, White Cap, and the new 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
We are one of the few companies offering A-pillar bracket solutions for both Jeep hood styles, so you can choose the correct bracket for your vehicle instead of modifying a part that was designed around the wrong hood.
Built for the Raised 392 / Mojave / 2026 Rubicon Hood
The raised hood used on the Wrangler 392, Gladiator Mojave, White Cap, and 2026 Wrangler Rubicon changes the available clearance near the cowl and A-pillar. Standard JL/JT A-pillar brackets are commonly designed around the lower factory hood profile, which can create fitment problems on these vehicles.
These brackets are designed around the raised hood profile to provide proper clearance, clean alignment, and a durable mounting platform for auxiliary lights and communications antennas.
Vehicle Compatibility
| Vehicle | Hood Style | Fitment |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon | Raised 392 / Mojave-style hood | Fits |
| Jeep Wrangler 392 | Raised 392 hood | Fits |
| Jeep Gladiator Mojave | Raised Mojave hood | Fits |
| Jeep Wrangler White Cap | Raised hood | Fits |
| Standard Jeep Wrangler JL / JLU | Standard JL hood | Use our standard JL/JT A-pillar brackets instead |
| Standard Jeep Gladiator JT | Standard JT hood | Use our standard JL/JT A-pillar brackets instead |
Important: These brackets are specifically designed for the raised 392/Mojave-style hood. If your Jeep has the standard JL/JT hood, this is not the correct version.
Lightweight Without Compromise
Each bracket weighs just 12 oz. per side and is precision-built from corrosion-resistant 5052 aluminum. The result is a strong, lightweight mounting solution that keeps unnecessary weight off your vehicle while still being tough enough for real off-road use.
The raw aluminum finish delivers a clean, functional look and can easily be refreshed with a Scotch-Brite pad if desired.
Clean Exterior Appearance
We intentionally kept the branding subtle and positioned below the side cube mounting area. The goal is a clean, OEM+ appearance that adds function without turning your A-pillar into a billboard.
Designed for Lights and Antennas
These brackets are designed to support both ditch lights and communications antennas. Because pod lights and antenna systems vary significantly between manufacturers, the brackets do not include pre-drilled accessory-specific mounting holes for every possible configuration.
This gives you the flexibility to configure the setup around your specific lights, antenna mounts, and wiring needs.

2026 Wrangler Rubicon Fitment Notice
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon now uses the raised hood design that was previously found on the Wrangler 392 and Gladiator Mojave. This is an important change because the hood profile affects clearance around the A-pillar mounting area.
Many standard JL/JT A-pillar light brackets were not designed around this taller hood profile. That can lead to hood interference, poor alignment, or an installation that simply does not fit correctly.
Our raised-hood A-pillar brackets were already developed for the Wrangler 392 and Gladiator Mojave, which makes them the correct choice for the new 2026 Wrangler Rubicon hood configuration.

Lighting and Antenna Mounting Layout
Both the driver-side and passenger-side brackets include the accessory mounting plates shown here. These plates are designed for communications antennas and ditch lights.
There is a cutout in the main bracket below each accessory plate so lighting wires and antenna wires can pass through cleanly. This helps simplify wire routing and keeps the installation cleaner.
The accessory plates bolt to the main bracket and do not have to be installed if they are not needed for your setup.
Antenna Hole Layout
The antenna holes are designed for antennas similar to these:
- Center 9.5mm hole – NMO Antenna
- Two 5.5mm holes – VHF / UHF / HAM Antenna
There are many antenna variations, so please reference the dimensions in the image to verify fitment for your specific antenna.
- The spread between the two 5.5mm holes is 19mm, approximately 3/4″.
- The spread between each of the 8.8mm pod light holes is 25mm, approximately 1″.
2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and 392 Hood Fitment FAQ
Do standard JL A-pillar light brackets fit the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon?
In many cases, no. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon uses the raised hood design previously found on the Wrangler 392 and Gladiator Mojave. Because of the taller hood and cowl profile, many standard JL/JT A-pillar light brackets do not provide proper clearance.
Is the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon hood the same as the 392 or Mojave hood?
The 2026 Wrangler Rubicon uses the raised hood style previously associated with the Wrangler 392 and Gladiator Mojave. From an A-pillar bracket fitment standpoint, that raised hood profile is the important detail.
Will these brackets fit a standard JL or JT hood?
No. These brackets are designed for the raised 392/Mojave-style hood. If you have a standard Jeep Wrangler JL, Wrangler JLU, or Gladiator JT hood, you should use our standard JL/JT A-pillar light brackets instead.
Can I mount both lights and antennas?
Yes. These brackets include removable accessory mounting plates designed for ditch lights and communications antennas. The final accessory configuration will depend on your specific lights, antenna mounts, and wiring layout.
Are these brackets sold individually or as a pair?
These brackets come as a pair and include both the driver-side and passenger-side brackets.
