Clear lenses deliver DOT-compliant DRL and turn-signal output, and the static or sequential pattern is selected during installation.

We Invented the Original JL/JT High-Line System
Chopping the factory Jeep JL or JT fender creates more tire clearance, but it also removes the support and mounting points for the factory daytime running light. We created the original high-line fender brace and lighting system to solve both problems together: reinforce the upper flare and restore the horizontal DRL and turn-signal functions in one clean package.
No one has spent more time developing this product category than we have. We have continued refining the brace, fitment and lighting because we feel a real sense of ownership over the product we invented. It has to represent AAL properly, and that means delivering the most OEM-like solution we can build for a modified fender.
The latest system pairs our vehicle-specific fender brace with purpose-built Diode Dynamics lighting, plug-and-play OE connections and a three-year limited light warranty.
What Comes With Your High-Line System
The required bundle supplies the brace, lighting and electrical pieces needed for the selected factory flare style. The no-drill adhesive brackets are optional and appear separately in the configurator.

Clearance, Structure and Factory Light Functions
1. Open the Fender
Removing the lower flare section creates the high-line profile and additional room around the tire.
2. Restore Support
The AAL brace replaces the structure and mounting support lost during the fender chop.
3. Restore the Lighting
The slim light assembly restores white DRL output and amber turn-signal function without a vehicle reflash.
Choose a Sequential or Static Turn-Signal Pattern
The turn-signal behavior is user-selectable during installation. Choose the sweeping sequential pattern for a more distinctive look, or select a conventional static flash. You are not locked into one pattern simply because you chose a particular lens or flare option.

Compliance note: Our DOT-compliance statement applies to the clear-lens DRL and turn-signal output. The smoked lens is not DOT compliant because of its lower light output.
Know the Decisions Before You Start Cutting
- Match the brace to the flare already on the Jeep. Rubicon/JT Mojave and Sahara/Moab/Overland/JT Sport S use different selections.
- Choose the lens and turn-signal pattern. The static or sequential pattern is selected during installation.
- Use the plug-and-play connections. The system uses OE-style connectors and does not require a vehicle reflash.
- Decide whether to add the no-drill brackets. They avoid drilling the optional mounting hole, but they do not work with Sahara-style fenders.
- Keep or replace the inner fenders. The stock inner fenders can be retained with trimming, or the system can be paired with aftermarket inner fenders.
Important: Do not use Loctite products on the light assemblies. Possible chemical incompatibility can damage the plastics.
Backed for Three Years, Supported Beyond the Original Purchase
Current Next-Gen Light Warranty
The current Diode Dynamics light assemblies carry a three-year limited warranty beginning on the ship date. The warranty is non-transferable. Modified wiring and damage from impacts, trail debris, accidents or submersion are excluded; replacement shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
Replacement Components
A damaged light or bracket does not have to turn into a complete-kit replacement. Individual replacement lights and brackets are available to help keep the system serviceable after trail damage or once the warranty period has ended.

Is this the original Jeep JL/JT high-line fender brace and light system?
Yes. We invented this product and built the original integrated solution for supporting the chopped upper flare while restoring the horizontal DRL and turn-signal functions. The current version reflects years of continued AAL development.
Can I choose between a sequential and static turn signal?
Yes. The turn-signal pattern is user-selectable during installation. Choose either the sweeping sequential pattern or a conventional static flash.
Are both lens options DOT compliant?
No. The clear-lens version provides DOT-compliant DRL and turn-signal output. The smoked lens is not DOT compliant because its darker lens reduces light output.
Will this work with my factory inner fenders?
Yes. The factory inner fenders can be retained with trimming. Aftermarket inner fenders can also be used.
Does the system require a reflash?
No. The current light system uses plug-and-play OE connections and does not require a vehicle reflash.
Can I install the lights without drilling the flare?
The optional no-drill adhesive brackets avoid drilling the optional mounting hole. They do not work with Sahara-style fenders.
What should I know about 2024+ High Altitude-style flares?
These flares require custom trimming, and we have not verified that their contour follows the High-Line light. Review the flare shape carefully before ordering or cutting.

this is a top quality product. after a year of abuse, the coating is still solid, the lights are crisp and the lens has not yellowed. i love the way this kit looks, but it really performs even better. the clearance created by these kits is amazing. i absolutely love my stock height jeep on 37″ KM3. its the most stable jeep i have ever wheeled with. stock suspension geometry is crazy capable and this kit, made in America is the best out there.

Easy install, awesome product. I went with the optional adhesive but I ended up applying the bolt on the outside of each fender anyway. These things are rock solid. Something else I haven’t seen mentioned elsewhere is that the new LEDs are a perfect match for the Diode Elite Max headlights. It looks OEM+ with both installed. You should stop hovering over the buy button and order a set now.
