For Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT accessory power builds
PowerDeck Electrical Accessory Panel
Clean accessory power in a crowded JL/JT engine bay.
The Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT engine bay does not leave much room for clean electrical accessory mounting. The PowerDeck creates a stable platform above the OEM cranking battery so fuse blocks, switch controllers, cutoff switches, relays, bus bars, and other electrical components have a real place to live.
Instead of stacking components wherever they happen to fit, the PowerDeck uses factory mounting points to put usable mounting space up high, out of the way, and away from the most common heat-soak problem areas.
Each PowerDeck is built in-house by American Adventure Lab from 2.2mm 5052 aluminum and is available in Raw/Unfinished or Textured Black Powder Coat.
Built around the space above the battery
The PowerDeck mounts above the OEM cranking battery and gives you a flat, accessible place to mount electrical hardware without drilling the vehicle.
- No drilling or vehicle modification required.
- Uses factory mounting points.
- Black zinc vehicle mounting hardware included.
- Available as a Blank panel or Loaded hardware kit.
- Designed, cut, bent, finished, powder coated, and kitted in-house at AAL.
Why It Exists
A cleaner place to mount the electrical parts your build already needs.
Uses Wasted Space
The area above the OEM battery is one of the few usable locations left in the JL/JT engine bay. PowerDeck turns that space into a stable mounting platform.
Keeps Components Accessible
Accessory fuses, switch-controller hardware, battery cutoff switches, and other service items stay up top where they are easier to see, wire, and inspect.
No Vehicle Drilling
The bracket system uses factory mounting points, so the install does not require drilling into the Jeep or modifying the engine bay.
Easy to Modify
Because the PowerDeck is aluminum, extra holes can be drilled in the panel without painting the hole edges or adding rust prevention like you would with steel.
Configurations
Choose the deck that matches the way you are wiring the Jeep.
PowerDeck is available in two configurations, two engine-specific fitments, and two finishes. Select the engine variant that matches your JL/JT, then choose Blank or Loaded depending on how much open mounting space you need.
Blank
The Blank PowerDeck gives you as much open mounting surface as possible. Choose this version when you are mounting larger switch controllers or laying out a custom accessory-power system.
Common Blank-version use cases include sPOD, Switch-Pros, REDARC, Auxbeam, Blue Sea, fuse blocks, relays, bus bars, and other builder-selected components.
Planning note: If you are using one of the larger switch controllers, order the Blank version.
Loaded
The Loaded PowerDeck includes a Blue Sea battery cutoff switch, two MIDI fuse holders, and one 6-circuit fuse box, giving you a flexible cutoff and fused-distribution platform above the battery.
The cutoff switch can be wired around the needs of the build. It is commonly used as a disconnect point for winch power, accessory power, or other high-current circuits where a manual cutoff makes sense.
Important: The Loaded version does not ship assembled. Fuses, wire, terminals, and wire protection are not included.
Engine Variants
Select 3.6L / 2.0L for gas 3.6L and 2.0L JL/JT applications, including Wrangler 4xe. Select 392 / EcoDiesel for Rubicon 392 and EcoDiesel applications.
Finish Options
Choose Raw/Unfinished if you want bare aluminum or plan to finish the panel yourself. Choose Textured Black Powder Coat for a finished black panel.
Hardware Included
Black zinc mounting hardware is included for installing the PowerDeck. If you select the Loaded version, mounting hardware for the included electrical components is included as well.
Loaded Version
A battery cutoff and fused-distribution platform, not a pre-wired electrical system.
The Loaded PowerDeck gives you the physical mounting hardware for a clean cutoff and fused-distribution layout above the OEM battery. It is intentionally not pre-wired, so installers can route, size, terminate, and protect wiring based on the actual loads and accessories in the vehicle.
Plan the electrical side of the install the same way you would any serious accessory-power project: use the correct wire size, terminals, fuse values, loom, abrasion protection, strain relief, and routing for the circuit. The panel itself is a basic bolt-on install; the wiring should be handled by someone comfortable with automotive electrical work.
Blank Panel Dimensions
Mounting surface diagrams will be added for both Blank versions.
The Blank versions provide the most open mounting area for switch controllers, fuse blocks, bus bars, and builder-selected electrical components. Final dimension diagrams will be added here for each engine-specific Blank panel.
