No assembly. No sourcing parts. No guessing if bottles fit.
Mount arrives assembled. Both cylinders are loaded in the mount. Edge molding is in place. It’s ready to bolt up or set into your storage system.
The same place you fill your BBQ tank. You will need a 20lb to 1lb propane adapter to connect the fill hose to your 1LB tank – available on Amazon or at most propane supply stores. The station fills the bottles the same way they fill any other cylinder.
Two full Pounder cylinders give you roughly two weeks of daily trail cooking. Run one completely dry using the indicator arrow, then tap the second. No half-used cans rattling around.

Safety: Store and transport cylinders upright, secured, and away from heat sources and sharp objects. Refill at a professional propane station using the bleeder valve. Do not attempt to refill by inverting a larger tank. Keep away from open flame during filling.
The kit includes one Dual 1LB Propane Tank Mount in Textured Black, two Ignik Pounder 1LB refillable propane cylinders, orange edge molding pre-installed on the mount, and all mounting hardware. It ships fully assembled with the cylinders already loaded in the mount.
Any standard propane fill station ā the same place you fill your BBQ or camp stove tank. The Ignik Pounder uses a flat-blade bleeder valve that station attendants are familiar with. No specialty equipment, no inverting a larger tank at home. Just pull up and fill.
A single 1LB cylinder typically lasts over a week of daily trail cooking. Two cylinders double that range ā roughly two weeks of daily use ā while also giving you a backup if one runs low unexpectedly. The mountās indicator arrow lets you track which cylinder is active so you run each one completely dry before switching.
The Ignik Pounder is compatible with all standard 1LB propane appliances ā camp stoves, portable heaters, lanterns, small grills, and griddles. It uses the same standard valve connection as Coleman disposable cylinders.
Yes. The Dual 1LB Propane Tank Mount is reversible ā the swing arm can be configured to open left or right depending on your vehicle layout and mounting position.
No. The kit ships ready: mount assembled, cylinders loaded, edge molding installed. The only step before using it is getting the Ignik cylinders filled at your local propane fill station.
The orange edge molding lines the bottom of the cylinder slots on the mount. It prevents metal-on-metal contact between the aluminum mount and the Ignik cylinder finish, eliminates rattling, and protects both surfaces over time. Itās pre-installed ā you wonāt need to add it yourself.
Yes. The Ignik Pounder is DOT and UL certified, making it legal for transport in your vehicle and compliant with safety standards for use across any rig, trailer, or overland build.
The mount is pre-drilled for direct attachment to AAL Spare Tire Platforms and MOLLE Bed Panels. It also bolts to vertical panels, floors, and platform systems. When not permanently mounted, it can sit in a drawer or tote and keep bottles from rolling and shifting while driving.
Yes. The Dual 1LB Propane Tank Mount is designed, laser-cut, and powder-coated in-house in the United States by American Adventure Lab. The Ignik Pounder cylinders are manufactured by Ignik and are DOT and UL certified.
