Built for 9-inch-diameter 10 lb propane cylinders, this lightweight 5052 aluminum mount keeps camp fuel secured to an overland rig, trailer, or camp system while keeping the carrier itself light. It fits both the Flame King YSN10LB steel cylinder and YSN10LB-ALM aluminum cylinder, with quick latch access and a reversible left- or right-hand opening.

Using another 10 lb tank? Confirm its diameter, collar, foot ring, and overall profile before ordering. A 9-inch diameter is required, but diameter alone does not guarantee fitment.
The shaped aluminum structure keeps the mount light and corrosion-resistant for vehicle-based camp and trail use.
The quick-release latch pulls the clamp tight for fast tank access and includes a padlock point for added security.

What Changed and Why
We replaced the original cast hinge with a fabricated swingarm pivot. The new pivot is simpler for us to assemble, removes unnecessary weight, and keeps the proven 5052 aluminum body, stainless latch, reversible opening, and security flanges from the original mount.
How the Mount Holds the Tank
Shaped aluminum plates wrap the cylinder, while protective edge trim cushions the tank at the clamp contact points. The stainless draw latch pulls the clamp closed for quick access at refill time or camp setup. Anti-spread security flanges help keep the clamp from being pried apart, and the padlock-capable latch gives you a straightforward way to add a lock.

Assembly and Setup
The mount ships unassembled and can be put together with common metric tools. Install the long protective edge-trim pieces starting at the edge of the clamp, then work around the clamp so the trim lands correctly for tank tension.
Choose the verified Flame King steel or aluminum tank, add the optional bundled combination padlock, or step down to our 5 lb propane system when cargo space matters more than fuel capacity.
