What Changed
The major update is the hinge. We replaced the previous cast hinge with a fabricated swingarm pivot, which makes assembly cleaner, removes unnecessary weight, and helps reduce manufacturing cost without giving up the latch, material, or tank security that made the original mount work.
Tank Fitment
This mount is designed around tank diameter, not just the number printed on the propane cylinder. It is made for 10 lb propane tanks with an outside diameter of about 9 inches (230 mm).

Yes. This updated mount supports the FlameKing YSN10LB-ALM aluminum 10 lb propane tank.
Will it fit every 10 lb propane tank?
No. This is a fixed-diameter mount for 9-inch / 230 mm tanks. If a different 10 lb tank uses a different diameter, collar, base ring, or overall profile, it may not fit correctly.
Is the propane tank included?
No. This product is the mount only. The propane tank is sold separately so you can pair the mount with the tank that fits your build.
Can the mount open from either side?
Yes. The mount is reversible, so you can assemble it for left- or right-hand access based on where it sits on your vehicle, trailer, rack, or camp setup.
What is different from the original 10 lb propane tank mount?
