Can the Ford Ranger BASE System Be Installed Over a Bed Carpet Kit?

Yes. A Ford Ranger Raptor owner confirmed that the AAL BASE rails can be installed over a BedRug bed carpet kit. The photos shown here show the rails and mounting brackets installed with the carpet in place on his 2026 Ranger Raptor.

This customer installation demonstrates BedRug compatibility. Fitment with other bed carpet kits depends on the kit’s thickness and coverage around the factory mounting points. If you have a different kit, contact us with the kit details before ordering.
