Wiring Kit – Rear Mount

The Dual ARB compressor pulls 55 amps at maximum. Due to the long run (from cranking battery) we recommend going 4 gauge wire. 4 gauge wire is rated at 70 amps. This gives you a few extra amps for low draw rear mounted accessories if needed.

This kit consists of:

• 25′ of 4 gauge stranded copper power wire (from battery to rear cargo compartment)
• 5′ of 4 gauge stranded copper ground wire (chassis ground)
• (x6) 4 gauge copper lugs
• 1 piece (6″) of red heat shrink
• 1 piece (6″) of black heat shrink

The power and ground wire are unterminated. This is so you can cut to length for your specific wire routing. Once you have determined the length, cut the wire, and trimmed the insulation, you can use the following tool to crimp the remaining lugs.
