Bottle Fitment

This mount is built to have a static (not adjustable) diameter mount of 8″. We have tested this mount with the tanks listed to the right. That being said, there may be more tank “brands” out there that use this particular tank. The 5lb FlameKing and Ignik tanks we have had in the shop have been the same tank. Just a note of clarity, we are not saying this mount will fit all 5LB propane tanks. We can’t know that. We can only say it is built to fit tanks with a diameter of 205mm (8″).

Note: we have had issues in the past where customers have ordered from third parties (ex. Amazon) and they have been sent something other than what was listed on their product pages. We suggest ordering in your tank and verifying it is the proper diameter before placing the order for your tank mount. We are working toward being able to sell the tanks with the mounts, but don’t have that option currently.

Assembly Note

Your bottle mount will ship without the edge trim installed. Install as illustrated here for proper bottle tension. Note: the long trim pieces should start at the very edge of the clamp (near either end). If you don’t start right at the edge, it will be too long by the time you work around the clamp.
