Make Room to Get the Jack Out

Mock up the location with your usual cargo loaded. Leave room to reach the pin and retainers and lift the jack clear. Getting to the jack shouldn’t be the first recovery job.

BADLAND Jack Mount FAQs

Are the 1.5-ton and 3-ton BADLAND mounts interchangeable?

No. Choose the 1.5-ton mount for Harbor Freight item 70887 and the 3-ton mount for item 59136. Each mount uses a cradle and retainers shaped for its jack.

Can I lock the jack in the mount?

Both mounts accept an optional padlock at the retention assembly to help deter theft. Check the product page for the locking arrangement on your model.

Where do the jack handles go?

Both handle sections store beneath the jack on either mount. On the 1.5-ton mount, place the foam-covered handle half above the rectangular cutout.

Does the mount come with a jack?

The American Adventure Lab product is the mount. Purchase the compatible BADLAND off-road jack separately.
