Our M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf for the JLU provides the ultimate in efficient cargo management for a raised platform in the the rear of the JLU. You decide how to secure your cargo!
Providing almost limitless ways to secure your cargo, our M.A.S.S. cargo shelf will let you put the junk in your trunk exactly where you want it and keep it there. The dogbone cutout shape can be used with Single Stud Tie-Down Rings from Mac’s to easily and quickly arrange bungee cords or tie downs. For the ultimate tie down solution, you can use ratchet straps with the single stud rings already sewn into them.

Currently, this shelf only supports the JLU (4-door). We will be releasing a 2-door version.
Powder coating is a manual process done by humans and may take some time. When you purchase powder coated products from AAL, we coat them for your order. Occasionally, that means delays with non-standard colors, resprays for less-than-perfect conditions, etc. We have a very high standard with powder coated products. We will work to get your parts coated in the best condition possible before they leave the building.
If you select “Powder Coat the Steel Components Only”, those parts will be powder coated textured black.

This was designed for the JLU hard top, but will work well with the soft top. Here are some photos of it installed in our JLU with the soft top. There are also some details about fitment.
We combine three different materials to provide ultimate strength and still keep it as light weight as possible.
In the photo above, the main cargo panels are set to transparent as well as the driver’s side mount. This allows you to see how the steel supports mount below the cargo platform. This is how we keep the weight low and the strength high.
As with all of our parts, we carry very tight tolerances to maximize space utilization as well as ensure proper fitment within the Jeep JLU. Our MASS Cargo Shelf fits that plan perfectly.
This is my favorite part of the shelf. This joint provides maximum lateral rigidity. You won’t believe how sturdy this shelf is once it’s mounted. We take great pride in our ability to maximize the efficiency of our designs using features such as this. This joint is located at all four corners of the shelf.
It’s your Jeep. You should optimize the gear however you need to make the most of your adventure. With the vertical cutouts in the front and rear of the shelf, you can use Single Stud Tie Rings or the new VersaTie Hook from Mac’s to make your setup just perfect for your need.

Solid design and construction. The design pattern provides lots of options to tie cargo down. Easy install, follow the instruction. The shelf height is adjustable. I have one of the very larger fridge and drawer units in my JL and the shelf fits perfectly. If you get it painted, the quality of the powder coating is outstanding. Painted parts are exceptionally wrapped for shipping. Have used this shelf on several extended overland trips and I am convinced this company pays attention to detail and quality. Time for me to order more products from them!

The AAL cargo shelf is outstanding! I have onboard 10g water tank mounted on it and my Keurig coffee maker. I needed the adjustability and the option to take the rails off is a plus.

Best tailgate table on the market! You can’t find a table with this many options. I would of liked to see a slide out but this table is well worth the money spent!

Very happy with the fit and finish on this product. It is well thought out and exceptionally sturdy. The shelf went together and installed easily. I’m waiting on a fridge slide so I will probably need to adjust height again but that will be simple. If anything it might just be overbuilt as I would try to keep heavier items lower in the Jeep. At least I will never have to worry about it being overloaded.
