Our new Bronco M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf is now ready! Our M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf for the 6th Gen Bronco provides the ultimate in efficient cargo management for a raised platform in the the rear of the Bronco. You decide how to secure your cargo! Works with the hard top and the soft top. Providing almost limitless ways to secure your cargo, our M.A.S.S. cargo shelf will let you put the junk in your trunk exactly where you want it and keep it there. The dog bone cutout shape can be used with Single Stud Tie-Down Rings from Mac’s to easily and quickly arrange bungee cords or tie downs. For the ultimate tie down solution, you can use ratchet straps with the single stud rings already sewn into them.

Multiple Materials

We combine three different materials to provide ultimate strength and still keep it as light weight as possible.

1/8″ steel for the vertical supports that attach to the roll bar for superior strength and lateral stability.
1/8″ steel the side spreaders. This ensures that the platform parts are able to strong over the entire span of the shelf.
1/8″ aluminum for the platform parts. This is where we can save some weight. Due to the mounting method, we are able to reduce the weight of the largest components in the rack.
1/8″ steel for the vertical, under-platform supports. Here’s where we got fancy. The vertical steel supports bolt in and provide a huge amount of vertical strength.
1/8″ steel for the edge guards to provide maximum strength for securing cargo.

In the photo above, the main cargo panels are set to transparent as well as the driver’s side mount. This allows you to see how the steel supports mount below the cargo platform. This is how we keep the weight low and the strength high.

Adjustable Height Measurements

We built a ton of adjustment into this product. Everyone has different needs whether it is to match the height of your fridge or to match the top of your cargo totes. We want this shelf to adapt to your needs. The lowest point (below the bottom of the shelf) is 26.5″ (672mm). The highest point (below the bottom of the shelf) is 16.25″. The diagram below shows how the vertical side brackets can be flipped to achieve the maximum measurements. This diagram shows the upper and the lower orientation together, mounted to a single side bracket. The brackets are swapped from left to right and flipped to achieve this orientation.

Innovative Connection Design

This is my favorite part of the shelf. This joint provides maximum lateral rigidity. You won’t believe how sturdy this shelf is once it’s mounted. We take great pride in our ability to maximize the efficiency of our designs using features such as this. This joint is located at all four corners of the shelf.

Limitless Mounting Options

It’s your Bronco. You should optimize your gear however you need to make the most of your adventure. With the vertical cutouts in the front and rear of the shelf, you can use Single Stud Tie Rings or the new VersaTie Hook from Mac’s to make your setup just perfect for your need.

Torture Test

Yes, I know it’s a Jeep, but we use the exact same panels and support structure in the Bronco shelf. As soon as I find someone willing to let me do jumping jacks in the back of their Bronco, I’ll update this video. 🤣🤣 In all seriousness, the Bronco shelf if ridiculously strong. With the clamp-around attachment method we use, the weight is very evenly distributed throughout the roll cage.

We’re working on a pile of accessories and mounts for the MASS Cargo Shelves. Here are a few components that are built to maximize the ability to sleep inside your vehicle. Since we use the same platforms for the Bronco and the JL, we will be able to evolve these components quickly and provide a great solution for these specific needs. Outstanding quality, easy install (1 person, about 45 minutes). I added the textured black finish and 1 Milwaukee Packout plate (need 1 more).
It pairs perfectly a/ my AAL Big Bronco P.A.C.S Drawer.
I’m now working on what’s next from AAL, might need their help 🙂
Great quality is worth the wait.

It didn’t come with direction but you can google search it and the instructions page for their website comes up. Direction page not easy to fine on the website.

They definitely take their time in the packaging department. Each piece is wrapped really well in padding and tape and then all the pieces are wrapped together the same way. I was very happy how it arrived.

The brackets for the roll bar on the Bronco Raptor are T40. You might have to give a couple love tips to the T40 bit and then you can impact the brackets on. Instructions say the logo faces out but that is not true.

The shelf system is very well made and easy to put together. The black coating did not have any scratches. It doesn’t rattle at all, which is super important for something that you mount in the Bronco permanently. I also have their Jerry Can holder and it is very well made as well. I would highly recommend this cargo shelf. Fantastic quality.
