The 1LB Bottle Worth Keeping
Most 1LB cylinders are engineered to be thrown away. The Ignik Pounder is engineered to last. Permanent screen-printed labels, a precision flat-blade fill valve, DOT and UL certification, and a dark navy finish that looks at home on any rig. We have been waiting a long time to stock these — and they were worth the wait.
Screen-Printed Markings
No stickers to peel, fade, or scratch off. Safety and fill info is permanently printed on the tank — still readable after years of hard use.
Flat-Blade Fill Valve
The bleeder valve opens with any flat-blade screwdriver. No specialty tools, no fumbling. Fast and clean at any propane fill station.
DOT & UL Certified
Built to DOT and UL standards. Transport-legal and safety-rated for confident use across any rig, trailer, or overland build.
Low-Profile Dark Blue
The deep navy finish blends naturally into most vehicle setups. Not the attention-grabbing green that ends up in a landfill after one use.
Two Bottles. Smarter Fuel System.
A single 1LB cylinder will cover a week of daily trail cooking. Two bottles doubles your range and eliminates your single point of failure. Run one dry before you tap the second — no mystery half-used cans rattling around. The Ignik Pounder pairs directly with our Dual 1LB Propane Tank Mount (Patent Pending) for a locked-in, rattle-free fuel setup that belongs on a serious build.
Two full Pounder cylinders: ~4 lbs total. A 5LB tank: ~15 lbs. When every pound on the trail matters, the math makes itself.

Refillable. Not Disposable.
The Pounder refills at any standard propane fill station — the same place you fill your BBQ tank. The flat-blade bleeder valve lets the station attendant fill the bottle completely and cleanly. No specialty equipment, no DIY rigging, no inverting a 20LB tank in your garage.
Want to fill multiple bottles at once? Ignik’s TapRack connects up to four Pounders and fills them simultaneously through a single valve. Prefer a minimalist kit? A direct-fill adapter like the Flameking 1LB Propane Adapter works too — it’s what we run on our own rigs.
Safety Note: Store and transport upright, secured, away from heat sources and sharp objects. Refill at a professional propane station using the bleeder valve — do not attempt to refill by inverting a larger tank at home.
