Spare Tire Strap Separator

If you’re looking to run straps around the circumference of your spare tire to hold any type of accessories, our Spare Tire Strap Separator (STSS) will help you keep those straps in line and safely in contact with the tire. These can be used in a pair to add even more stability and safety.

How does it work? The two panels telescope in and out so you can adjust their separation to your exact width of your tread patch. The outside flanges will keep the STSS aligned to the center of your tread patch. Once the width is set, lock them in place by tightening down all four bolts. Then, loop your straps through the opposing slots (as pictured). Next position the STSS equidistant from the lashing points of your accessories (and/or second Spare Tire Strap Separator).Lastly, tighten the straps, ensuring the STSS retains its alignment on the tire.

Built from 5052 aluminum and shipped with zinc coated steel hardware including nylon locknuts.

Adjustable to fit tread patch widths from 9.25″ to 13.25″.
