This mount borrows its DNA from our MAXTRAX system for the Ford Ranger Bed Rack RAILS, trusted by countless off-roaders. It’s designed specifically around the MAXTRAX mounting pattern (and any traction boards that share it), using MAXTRAX mounting pins to lock everything down tight.

The brackets have a two different sets of holes for the mounting pins. For MAXTRAX boards, use the outboard holes. For ActionTrax boards, use the inboard holes. Yes, the MAXTRAX Mounting Pins work well for the ActionTrax boards.
We recommend the 17mm long MAXTRAX Mounting Pins. The mounting studs may still need to be trimmed depending on your mounting location, so there’s no reason to buy the longer studs.
Right now, this mount is tuned for MAXTRAX and ActionTrax. But we’re always in problem-solving mode. If you run a different brand of traction boards, let us know — we’re considering a universal tray option to cover more setups.
