Jeep Wrangler 4XE A-Pillar Light and Antenna Brackets
Sold as a pair. Purpose-built for serious off-road use, these lightweight aluminum brackets mount at the A-pillar to give you a clean, rigid location for comms antennas and optional ditch lights, without turning your Jeep into a rolling billboard.
This is the 4XE-specific version of our JL/JT A-pillar brackets, built to work around the driver-side charging port. The passenger-side bracket is identical to the standard JL/JT design, while the driver-side uses a smaller accessory platform to maintain proper clearance.
⚠️ Important 4XE Fitment Note
- Driver side: smaller accessory platform due to charging-port clearance. It is not large enough to hold both an antenna mount and a light mount at the same time.
- Passenger side: full-size accessory platform (same as the standard JL/JT bracket).
- Recommended setup for most 4XE owners: run your antenna on the passenger side, and run lights on one side or both sides as desired.
Why You’ll Like Them
- Super light, super strong – Only ~12 oz per side, formed from 5052 aluminum for excellent strength-to-weight and corrosion resistance.
- Trail-tested – Thoroughly tested in Baja Mexico and Moab for the true test of off-road durability and real-world clearance.
- Low-key branding – Discreet logo placement below the side cubes keeps the look clean and professional.
- Trail-ready hardware – Includes zinc-coated fasteners for dependable installation.
Notes on Lights
We do not pre-cut holes for ditch light pods. There are many pod sizes and mounting patterns, and drilling your own holes ensures ideal placement for your specific lights and aim.
Compatibility
- Vehicles – Jeep Wrangler 4XE (JLU – 4-Door).
- Important – These brackets are 4XE-specific and differ from the standard JL/JT version due to driver-side charging-port clearance.

Installation Overview
- Assemble the accessory bracket to the main bracket (if you plan to run the accessory bracket).
- Remove the factory Torx bolts at the cowl corner, place spacers, and loosely start the supplied bolts.
- If you are installing pod lights, mount them to the bracket before final install and verify bolt length so nothing contacts the cowl/paint.
- Check clearances, then tighten all mounting bolts. Repeat on the opposite side.
Lights Shown in Product Photos
- Smaller outboard cubes – Diode Dynamics SSC2
- Larger forward-facing cubes – Diode Dynamics SS5
Good to Know
- Raw aluminum is naturally corrosion-resistant and ideal for a functional, race-inspired look.
- Custom drilling for pod lights lets you choose exact light model, spacing, and aim without compromise.
Hole Layout
Both the driver’s side and the passenger’s side brackets include the bolt-on accessory bracket you see in the photos. It is designed for comms antennas and optional ditch lights. There is a cutout in the main bracket below each accessory bracket for lighting wires and antenna wires to pass through, making routing your wiring a much cleaner process. The accessory brackets are bolt-on, so they do not have to be installed.
The antenna holes are designed for antennas similar to these:
- For the center 9.5mm hole – NMO-style antenna mounts
- Two 5.5mm holes – VHF/UHF/HAM-style antenna mounts
There are a lot of different variants of those antennas, so please reference the dimensions shown in the product photos to verify fitment for your particular antenna. The spread between the two 5.5mm holes is 19mm (~3/4″). The spread between each of the 8.8mm pod light holes is 25mm (~1″).
